Hyena Hangout offers Self Catering Bush Lodge Accommodation with Free-Roaming Animals in Marloth Park, Kruger Lowveld, Mpumalanga
Hyena Hangout is your ideal bushveld getaway home. Located in the Marloth Park Conservancy, this comfortable and secure home is blissfully quiet and peaceful, your only visitors being the free-roaming animals that call Marloth Park their home.
Marloth Park is a wildlife conservancy, protecting all the non-threatening wild game, which roam freely amongst the dwellings. You will be constantly delighted by visits from zebra, giraffe, bushbuck and kudu; not forgetting the tortoise, monitor lizard or the energetic ‘nag-apies’ or galagos.
The impala, blue wildebeest, nyala and warthog wander freely while the Big 5 are restricted to the Kruger National Park. The house is within a short walk of the Crocodile River which is the border of the Kruger National Park. Spend the early evening with sundowners alongside the river, enjoying the prospect of seeing the elephants bathing in the river or a lioness catching her prides evening meal.
Buffalo, rhino, waterbuck, crocodile and hippo are also a common sight, together will a myriad of water birds and the amazing fish eagle.
